Beth is off, but not quite yet

I (Beth) have decided to leave our wonderful family business. Before joining Browns full time in July 2021 I worked as a marketing manager for a law firm, and while working for the family business has been an amazing opportunity, I have missed working in a corporate, larger scale company. It's definitely a time of mixed feelings, as while I am very excited to start my new role, it feels like the end of an era. 

The good news is that the physical shop isn't going anywhere as Phil and Seonee (Dad and Mum to me) are staying put. However the website will be closing at Christmas. 

I have negotiated with my new employers so that I am starting with them part time until the new year, meaning we can keep the website up an running for Christmas. It also means I won't miss the Christmas buzz in the shop which I absolutely love; I am already looking forward to Dulverton by Starlight. 

I must admit that it will be nice to have my parents as just my parents again and not also as colleagues and I'm very excited for a new challenge. I will miss many of our lovely customers and my commute of about 100 meters...

Anyway, it isn't goodbye quite yet so I hope to see lots of you in store before I leave.
