Christmas in Dulverton
The big C is fast approaching. While it may seem like it's a way off, when you hear that it's only 6 weeks until Christmas it can't help but feel close! If you have been into the shop recently then you have probably noticed the Christmasification has begun with trees going up and decorations coming out.
I may be a tad bias but Christmas in the countryside is extra magical, with the super dark nights and crisp frosty mornings. Having spent a few Christmas' in Bristol I can safely say that in my mind, you can't beat a country Christmas.
Christmas in Dulverton kicks off with Dulverton by Starlight. Always held on the first Sunday in December the evening features Santa's grotto, fireworks, market stalls, carols around the Christmas tree and a range of other festive activities. The shops of Dulverton open their doors all day to shoppers from near and far. It really is a magical event that gets everyone into the Christmas spirit.
If you are thinking of coming to Starlight then don't forget to book accommodation and food in advance as it gets very busy. There is a park and ride service on the day so follow the instagram @dulvertonbystarlight page for all updates.
For many (including us) Starlight kicks of Christmas and from then on it's festive all the way.
