Happy Birthday Phil! Gift ideas for men
In honour of Phil's birthday (which was on Sunday) this blog is all about gift ideas for men. Browns aren't known for being a 'men's' shop, but that doesn't mean that we don't have the perfect gift items for all the men in your life.
For the gardener
For the green fingered man we have garden tools, garden gloves, plants, compost, plant pots and so much more. Plenty to keep a keen gardener busy and stocked up.
For the bird watcher
If you know a bird lover than how about one of our hand crafted wooden African birds? Or maybe a metal bird on a spike for the garden? If you want to draw real birds into your garden then we have several bird baths to keep your bird friends happy and sure to tell their friends about this great new spot they have found.
For the dog dad
We have mentioned the Off the Leash collection several times before, but for a dog lover with a sense of humour we don't think there is a better gift! We have mugs, plates and cards available.
Or, if you are after something else dog themed then how about some dog homeware? Dog bookends or dog hooks are perfect for any country home, both practical and stylish.
For the proper countryman
Exmoor is certainly home to more than one country gentleman. We love this Sea on Glass piece of a country hare, all suited and booted and ready for a day of outdoor activities. If you want something unique then this gift is perfect, we actually have a very similar pierce of our own at home.
These Cornish pewter pins are great for a small gift and we have a range of country designs.
And if none of that takes your fancy then we have lots of classic Exmoor themed homeware with pheasants, stags, shooting scenes, stags and so much more.
For the horse rider
Being in Exmoor we are slightly Exmoor pony biased! Local photographer Mike Sherwin has taken some stunning photos of the ponies which are available as cards or large prints. We also have Cornish pins suitable for avid horse fans too.
For the keen fisherman
If the man you are looking for a gift for can normally be found waist deep in a river in his waders then how about this fish card or one of our fish Cornish pins? Another gift Phil has received at some point over the years.
For the man who doesn't fall into any of these categories
And if none of the above are right then you can't go wrong with a staple homeware piece. From vintage framed printed to fair trade rugs from India we have a number of homeware pieces which appeal to men just as much as women.
All that is left to say is..... Happy Birthday Phil!
