What's new and what's coming soon
If you follow us on social media then you may have seen that we get deliveries of new goodies all the time. Whether we are restocking favourites, getting new items from an existing supplier or even getting something brand new into the shop, there is always plenty going on at Browns. In this blog we thought we'd show you some of the new items we've had delivered recently and give you a sneaky insight into what is coming in the future.
We recently started working with a couple of new local, Devon based suppliers. The first is our cold cast bronze supplier whose items have been flying out of the door since we started getting them in. All of the designs are by local artists and all items are made in Devon. We have hares, horses, dogs, cats, mice, stags and even an otter!
Our other new Devon based supplier is a leather worker who handmakes stunning leather bags. It is so rare to find British makers these days, so the fact we have such a talented individual so close makes us very happy, plus the prices for these hand made bags are really reasonable (it's been a struggle not to take them all home to be honest).
Our bag supplier can also handmake leather belts. These can be made to your exact size. Just ask us if you'd like some more information.
Another British supplier is our steel gardenware supplier who design and make all their items in the UK. We have been dealing with this company for many years but now, thanks to the website, we are able to offer you a much wider range of their products, including much larger items such as garden arches and tunnels which we love but just can't fit into our courtyard. These items can be drop shipped directly to you, and again you know you are buying a quality British product.
Not quite so local, but still just as talented a craftsman is our African bird supplier. We know lots of you love our handmade wooden birds. We have just had a new delivery and we have some brand new standing birds and bird keyrings.
We have just placed a second order with David Austin Roses and as well as restocking the best selling varieties, we also have some new roses coming. The new roses are:
We are hoping these roses and our existing roses will start flowering soon, so that the courtyard looks like last year again.
Looking a bit further into the future and we are very excited to have a huge Pachamama delivery arriving later this year. The favourite hats, mitt and socks will be back, but we also have jumpers, headbands and so so so so many new designs! Having so many lovely items to keep warm will make the colder weather more bearable (we hope).
They'll be lots more new and exciting items coming this year too, we wouldn't want to spoil all the surprises!
